We had a wonderful New Years this year! We had some really good friends come to visit and stay with is for 4 days. They have 4 kids, two of which are the same age as Jacob and Allyson. They had such a great time having instant playmates!!
We went to Common Ground park in Lakeland. This is the coolest park I have ever seen! The kids had such a great time and didn't want to leave.
On Friday is warmed up so we decided to check out the beach and let the kids play in the sand. Unfortunately, they had other plans.... to play in the freezing cold water!
They had a ball and yes, the boys got in the water. It was too cold even for my toes!!
Friday night we all hung out playing games and snacking on yummy food. The kids got a little tired but they all got a second wind and made it up for the New Year!! Jacob was so excited that he made it!!
We all did a toast for the New Year, then off to bed for the kiddos!
We took a picture of the adults to remember the night. We have one just like it from 10 years ago!! How fun!
